Kindred Group Partners with Quechan Tribe for Potential Sports Betting Expansion in Arizona and California

The Kindred Group has forged a collaborative arrangement with the Quechan Tribe, situated on the Fort Yuma Indian Reservation, in anticipation of the potential legalization of sports wagering in Arizona and California.

The Fort Yuma Indian Reservation encompasses a substantial expanse, extending from Imperial County in southeastern California to Yuma County in western Arizona.

Within this territory, the Quechan Tribe operates the Quechan Casino Resort in California and the Paradise Casino in Arizona, providing entertainment and gaming opportunities to guests.

This decade-long accord with Kindred empowers the Unibet operator to introduce sports betting and online gaming through digital and physical channels, offering patrons a wider array of choices, contingent upon regulatory approval.

Kindred currently maintains operations in Indiana, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, having secured licenses to enter seven additional states, including Illinois and Ohio, steadily expanding its presence.

“This westward expansion is truly exhilarating, and the partnership with the Quechan Tribe of the Fort Yuma Indian Reservation will enable Kindred to access two pivotal states within the US market,” remarked Manuel Stan, Senior Vice President of Kindred US. “California is poised to emerge as one of the most significant markets globally, with projected annual revenue exceeding $2 billion, while Arizona is anticipated to generate $200 million in annual sports betting revenue upon reaching maturity.”

Securing an early advantage in these two crucial states allows us to prepare for a seamless launch with a reliable partner who possesses extensive knowledge of the region.

The Quechan Indian Tribes of Arizona and California, as stated by Tribal Chairman Jordan Hoakins, are thrilled to collaborate with Kindred Group, a leading online sports betting and gaming enterprise, to introduce an innovative and enjoyable form of gaming to the community and generate revenue for their tribal members.
