Chilean gaming operators Delight and Visions are joining forces, creating a combined entity that controls a significant portion of the nation’s market share.
Delight will be the surviving entity in the merger, with its investors holding a substantial stake in the newly formed company. Visions’ management team will retain the remaining ownership.
The newly formed company will aim to broaden its reach in South America, establishing eateries, lodgings, and event venues in countries such as Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Panama, and Colombia, in addition to Chile.
The transaction is anticipated to be finalized within the next year, subject to regulatory clearance in Chile and other affected nations.
Visions CEO Claudio Fischer stated, “The newly formed company will leverage the combined expertise and financial resources of both companies, enabling it to navigate the challenges presented by the pandemic’s effects and the emergence of new technologies within the Latin American gaming and entertainment sector.”
Delight CEO Henry Comber added, “The union of Visions and Delight will solidify the Chilean company’s dominant position in the Latin American gaming industry.”
