BetCity Partners with Enteractive to Re-Engage Players in the Dutch Market

BetCity, a Netherlands-based online sports wagering platform and subsidiary of the Entain Group, has teamed up with Enteractive to re-engage their clientele within the regulated Dutch market.

Enteractive specializes in individualized player retention and reactivation services for sportsbook and iGaming providers worldwide. Their objective is to assist businesses like BetCity in optimizing their customer relationship management (CRM) tactics and procedures, ultimately boosting income from dormant or lapsed gamblers.

BetCity secured its license to operate online gaming and sports betting in October 2021 from the Dutch Gaming Authority (Kansspelautoriteit). They rapidly captured a substantial portion of the market, attaining 20% in early 2022. This accomplishment resulted in their acquisition by Entain later that year.

Through this collaboration, Enteractive will utilize BetCity’s player database and their staff of native-language support representatives to connect with players. Their emphasis will be on executing marketing initiatives crafted to enhance player retention and brand loyalty for BetCity.nl.

Robert Kooiman, Marketing Director at BetCity, conveyed his excitement regarding the partnership, noting that it provides them with a strategic advantage within the Dutch market. He highlighted the significance of Enteractive’s tailored approach in cultivating stronger player connections and positioning BetCity as a responsible gaming option. Kooiman expects that re-engaging inactive players will generate enduring, mutually advantageous relationships.

Enteractive expresses great enthusiasm in collaborating with BetCity as they expand within the profitable Netherlands market, shared Francesca Raniolo, Senior Business Development Manager at Enteractive. Considering the considerable untapped potential of dormant player accounts and the favorable player response, Enteractive projects significant outcomes in revitalized player revenue.

Every month, Enteractive reengages over 13,000 players on behalf of various operators. Their approach utilizes native language call representatives to deliver assistance for iGaming companies worldwide.

This collaboration follows Entain’s successful purchase of BetCity for €450 million ($543 million), further strengthening their position within the area.
