MGM Resorts Appoints New Chief Customer and Innovation Officer

Daniel Yang has been appointed Chief Customer and Innovation Officer at MGM Resorts International. Previously, he served as Chief Strategy Officer at Aristocrat Leisure, a prominent player in gaming technology.

MGM’s CEO, Bill Hornbuckle, expressed enthusiasm for the appointment, describing Daniel as a “forward-thinking leader” and emphasizing his talent for leveraging technology to craft exceptional and immersive customer journeys. It appears Daniel will play a pivotal role as MGM prioritizes expansion through initiatives such as marketing and loyalty initiatives.

Prior to his tenure at Aristocrat, Daniel held various executive positions at Viacom (currently Paramount). His background also includes consulting and co-founding a mobile gaming venture.

Daniel conveys eagerness to contribute to the development of MGM’s digital offerings. This is particularly noteworthy considering MGM’s recent collaboration with Marriott to establish a collection of MGM Collection hotels within the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio.

MGM Resorts is making significant strides! They envision a colossal entertainment complex in Las Vegas, uniting 17 of their establishments and boasting an impressive 40,000 accommodations. Furthermore, they are eyeing Thailand’s gambling market and partnering with Marriott International to make an impact in China. It appears MGM is expanding worldwide!
