Bally’s Corporation is broadening its horizons through the purchase of Degree 53, a Manchester-based creative firm specializing in digital platforms, mobile applications, and software engineering for the iGaming and sports wagering sectors. This calculated move will integrate Degree 53’s team of design and technology specialists to strengthen Bally’s global portfolio, especially in the mobile realm.

This acquisition represents a crucial element of Bally’s plan to elevate its mobile platforms, particularly in anticipation of the forthcoming release of its redesigned mobile sports betting application, Bally Bet 2.0, in early 2024. Degree 53’s proficiency will be essential in crafting a fluid and captivating wagering experience for Bally’s clientele.

Degree 53 boasts a distinguished history, having collaborated with industry leaders such as Betfred, Scientific Games, La Française des Jeux (FDJ), and Penn National. Their expertise is further reinforced by holding a Remote Gambling Software permit from the UK Gambling Commission and maintaining an Associate Membership with the European Lottery Association.

Richard Wagstaff, Managing Director of Degree 53, conveyed his excitement about becoming part of the Bally’s family, emphasizing the company’s dedication to providing cutting-edge solutions for the online gaming sector since its founding in 2013.
