A major European gaming corporation, Better Collective, has acquired PariuriX, a Romanian wagering platform, in a strategic move to solidify its expanding presence throughout Europe.
Established in 2006, PariuriX rapidly gained prominence in Romania’s betting landscape, becoming recognized for its strong emphasis on sports wagering. They cultivated a devoted user base by providing a combination of professional and community-driven insights integrated into their sportsbook.
This purchase represents the latest strategic maneuver in Better Collective’s European growth plan. They’ve been on something of an acquisition spree, purchasing a series of prominent betting websites in France, Austria, Germany, and the UK. This recent agreement, however, signifies their initial venture into the Eastern European market.
Michal Kopec, Better Collective’s Head of Mergers and Acquisitions, expressed clear enthusiasm, remarking, “The integration of PariuriX will immediately provide Better Collective with a dominant position within the Romanian sports betting sector. Incorporating another regulated market into our portfolio represents a crucial strategic step for us.”

Marius Cădar has achieved remarkable success in expanding PariuriX, and Better Collective is committed to capitalizing on the exceptional work that has been accomplished.”
Marius Cădar, the originator of PariuriX, conveyed his insights on the platform’s evolution: “I initiated PariuriX some time ago with a straightforward objective: to establish an environment where experienced gamblers could connect and exchange their proficiency to pinpoint the most favorable bets each day.”
